• SRL was formed on 1 November 2007 with big ambitions to make a massive contribution to tackling Climate Change, by making environmentally sustainable projects happen for farmers, landowners and local communities all over the UK.
• SRL’s Vision is to combat Climate Change by proliferating renewable energy projects in the UK.
• SRL’s mission is to nurture as many profitable and sustainable renewable energy projects as possible to make this vision a reality.
• SRL’s preferred renewable energy technology for immediate development is onshore wind power, deployed in small clusters and sited sensitively over the countryside.

We hope to encourage you, in some small way, to believe that we can all take significant strides forward with small but collectively significant actions to shake off our fossil-fuel dependency, keep the lights on with our new renewable energy sources and enhance our national energy security, by building generating capacity on British soil. It is likely to cost 1-2% of our GDP which experts believe we can afford. But we need to start now.
